Time to Kick off another year!

My best friend has season tickets to the Packers and is a die-hard fan.  I did buy a set of tickets from her last year to take my boyfriend which he thought was the greatest.  And we are thinking about going to the ProBowl together this year.  Her birthday is in September so I thought this would be a great card for her.  It is made with the Football Humphrey set as well as the Touchdown 1 and Touchdown 2 papers.

Fox- Have yourself a merry little Christmas

I colored this adorable image from Gerda Steiner which is the monthly stamp.  Originally I was going to do it as a general card, but then I remembered that I had these great papers from TLC so decided to make it into a Christmas card.  I added some snow crystals on the grass.  I have a wooded back yard and there are nights when I come home late from work that I happen to see a red fox running in the neighborhood.  Which I find so amazing since I grew up in a rural community and now I live in a suburban territory a few miles north of the capital.

with Sympathy - Viva la Verve

Unfortunately my best friend's Mother has lung cancer and is on hospice care at this time.  I made this card in anticipation since I don't want to be caught without a proper card.  Her Mom played organ for church so I thought the music paper was perfect.  I know it sounds horrible to make the card ahead of time, but I want to have it done and then spend time with my friend when she will need me when she is grieving.
